We start from eleonas country village toward the Votomos lake of zaros and then follow the yellow arrows until the Cave hermitage of st Efthimios.

Inside the cavernous church there are some frescoes and there is a rock-carving with the number 1432, but it is not probably a date, as dates in that time were written with letters.

According to tradition, Saint Efthimios was mistakenly killed by a hunter, when the nuns of the monastery of Saint Nikolaos saw him wandering in the gardens dressed like an animal. The outdoor area of Cave hermitage of st Efthimios is perfect view point.

After we take the way back and turn left to visit the village Nivritos , is a traditional village with small streets and nice church on top village with nice view , you can make a stop at small coffee shop in middle of the village where the local goes.
